Bio

I was born on the 3rd Amsterdam. After finishing my high school in 6 six years, I studied in Wageningen and then in Groningen. I first started with Biology. The first years were great, but during my research I saw I didn't like doing research. So I finished my Bachelor and switched to a different Master: Science communication. This study fit my interests better and I finished it in two years.
After my study I searched for a job in Groningen, but finding something related to Science Communication was not possible at the time. I didn't want to sit around and do nothing so decided to apply for a 'simpler' job. I found a job at the IB-Groep (Holland's government organization that finances students). I started as a employee who answers questions from clients by telephone. After the education I quickly was promoted to the function of ''walking encyclopedia' to support the employees. After six months I was asked to support the management with production steering. This was the first step to the function as Trainer. After a year I was officially promoted to the function as Trainer. At the moment I still am a Trainer at DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs). My main activities consist of giving training to new employees, guiding and coaching employees, creating new trainings, facilitating corporate educations and professionalising the employees of DUO. It's a great job with terrific colleagues.

My website is mainly devoted to my hobby: miniature wargaming. I have been involved in this hobby for over fifteen years now. I have learnt a lot and I am still learning about painting. The hobby is very relaxing and the gaming involved is great fun with my buddies.
